There’s no denying that who we spend our time with has a great effect on how we think. Recent studies are showing just how much of an effect that can be. Add to that the power of social networks, and things get even more complicated. Fortunately, there are some good side-effects too. The right people really can help diffuse tense situations. We’re all highly susceptible to influence; remembering that when it comes to making our decisions is a smart idea.

One of the consequences of the current economic situation is its effect on education. Developing the right skills has become crucial. And yet how we got about developing those skills is quite complex. There’s been a definite trend towards studying abroad and even online. What do you think? Isn’t it amazing to stop and realise just how far technology has advanced in the last few years? Everything seems to be getting smaller and faster. It turns out things are getting thinner too. There are just so many ways technology has made our lives more fun. I’m surprised we manage to get any work done at all!
