One of the lessons Benjamin Franklin offers in his autobiography is the importance of being humble. We learn new things everyday. Even when we think we know how things work, we may be wrong. And so it makes sense to keep humble by understanding we don’t know everything and probably never will. Never talk with absolute certainty even when you’re pretty convinced you’re right. Some flexibility and an open mind always prove handy.
