Dress for Success
“I base my fashion taste on what doesn’t itch.” – Gilda Radner
As much as many would hate to admit, looks matter. How we dress affects our performance as well as how we’re perceived. Judgements are formed in a snap, which is why it’s important to get this right. No, it doesn’t mean spending a fortune on designer clothes or all sorts of weird and wonderful things. It’s simply about taking pride in who you are and taking the time to make sure you look as good on the outside as you feel on the inside.
“A slovenly dress betokens a careless mind.” – Don Quixote
Feel confident by dressing well for you, not merely to impress others. Stick to simple and comfortable clothes that fit into your work and leisure lifestyles. The Sartorialist is one of my favourite blogs and a great place for ideas. It really doesn’t have to be more complicated than that.
