The Future of Books
“Every generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.” – Confucius
I’ve mentioned before just how much I love to read. I honestly can’t think of anything better to do. That’s why I was quite fascinated by an article I read on the future of books. Victor Hugo once wrote about how the invention of the printing press and the proliferation of books it spawned killed the meaning of architecture. What do you think? Is the internet about to do the same for the written word?
